Open-water swimming in Belgium
Recreation areas, ponds and lakes where swimming is allowed — with official monitoring of bathing-water quality.
In Flanders the Flemish Environment Agency (VMM) monitors bathing-water quality; in Wallonia the Environment department does. Only swim at designated, supervised sites.
We will soon add the official open-water sites with their current water quality to the map.
